Nobody Gonna Break My Stride

There is no stopping the organization machine formerly known as Carie.

My closet is now organized by color and sleeve length and style. Pants are folded. Shoes are lined. (Please ignore the top self it belongs to my husband's bags and sweatshirts.)

In my organizing, I came across this shirt -with tags. I totally forgot I owned it. I am resolved to wear it as soon as it gets above freezing.

I tidied the top of my built-in dresser. I had to rearrange the jewelry board for some new long necklaces.

Folded contents of my drawers.

I decluttered my nightstand. It had become a dumping ground. I turned all the books around. I've seen it done in magazines and am trying to decide if I like it. (How do you know which book is which?)

There is nothing that makes me feel more stress than the thought of organizing anything. (Except confronting my mother).

I like the clean, white look of that book thing. I've never seen it before.

Love the nightstand, but am a little blown away by the quantity of clothes in your closet! There is no way you could get through all those clothes in 6 months or maybe even a year . . . .

Way to go!

I like the books!

And I, personally, am not blown away by the amount of clothes in your closet. With as much as you blog and talk about clothes, and shop....it's not really surprising! It's your thing! :)

I have some major closet envy right now! I have a TINY closet that I must rotate clothes out of each season, and I own no dresser. Yours is what I imagine mine would look like! Crazy enough my closet is guaranteed to always be the messiest place in my house! Oh yours looks so nice...sigh.

Wow, what a closet! Love it! It must be great having everything so organized and accessible.

Dear Carie,

I leave the back door to my garage open all the time. Please feel free to come organize my closet (or my basement which is currently still being unpacked 5 months post-move) while I'm at working dealing with crazy teenagers all day.

Love,
Rochelle
