Now that it is crunch time for costumes (with the Ward Halloween party this Friday), I have come to the conclusion that I do not want to make any costumes this year. All pipe dreams of Madelines and Cupcakes have been laid aside. Rather than mess with hunting down hats or felt or polka-dot tights, I took the easy way out and bought her this:

It's a fairy of some sort or another. She seems rather crushed - evidenced by her huge smile and unwillingness to take her costume off.
This also gives the chance to show off her new 'do.

I don't know what I love more; the costume, the haircut or the little girl!
so cute! i want one for...me?!
so cute!
What a cute little fairy. Love the costume!
Avery could wear a paper bag and look adorable. I do love the costume though. Good pick! I don't think she would be pleased with the bag.
