I watched Xanadu (an old childhood favorite) with my sisters last week. Some of my sisters, I should say, two of my sisters had "better things to do," can you imagine? For a perfectly terrible movie it has the best soundtrack. Ev-ah.
It was decided that Keira (aka Olivia Newton John's character) would be the supreme Halloween costume. It was also decided that my oldest would be the perfect candidate. Leg warmers, roller skates, head band = perfect costume for sure.
And the fact that no one will know who she is will only add to the mystique.

that is THE best idea you have ever had. the costumes in that movie MAKE it. and gene kelly. because i heart him.
How can ANYONE NOT KNOW XANADU? Or, pass on watching it? Insane . . .
